As a result of growth through M&A, we now have an exciting challenge for a experienced
Sales Director to drive revenue growth and cash flow for the newly acquired Emailing
Solution (www.emailing-solution.com) business operating in Barcelona (Spain). Being
an initially hands-on role requiring a real ability to grow with the business, to
be successful you must have a demonstrable and winning track record of achieving
revenue objectives through personal effort.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director of CheetahMail EMEA and to the in-country
Marketing Services Director, the Sales Director, leading a sales team, will be responsible for defining and executing the Emailing Solutions’s sales strategy and processes,
managing and developing the existing clients base, identifying new business opportunities,
spotting the prospects’ needs, driving the creation of a deliverable solution, negotiating
the optimal commercial deal and closing it in a way that allows maximum cash flow
whilst building long lasting relationship. The Sales Director will develop and maintain
close internal relationships with product development and operational delivery teams
in order to ensure the solution can and is delivered.
The role:
- Deliver the revenue objectives, quarterly and annually Seguro médico privado.
- Contribute to overall company sales strategy. To keep accurate records of sales
and forecasts.
- Manage existing accounts for growth.
- Identify, qualify, progress and close new business opportunities.
- Lead final contract negotiations with the customer.
- Provide leadership and industry knowledge to customers/prospects.
- Maintain an appropriate corporate presence in industry-related public through
the organisation of events.
- Ensure the timely involvement of technical solutions team in order to ensure the
development of appropriate, agreed responses to customers requirements; provide
structured feedback to product and technical teams concerning clients’ issues, needs
and priorities relevant to their products and services.
- Oversee the delivery process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Build/maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage the sales team in Spain.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Proven sales experience of e-mail marketing industry showing clear career progression.

A consistent track record of achieving sales objectives through demonstrated planning
and forecasting skills.
- Proven experience in managing sales team.
- Higher academic degree.
- Experience of selling to corporate segments.
- Self starting/ consultative and solutions oriented deal maker with sufficient
presence, gravitas and tenacity to gain access to senior decision makers in order
to develop revenue generating relationships.
- Ability to create well structured presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Spanish mother tongue.
- Good spoken and written knowledge of English and Catalan.
- Highly organized and efficient working style.
- Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel extensively and spend significant portions of time away from
base.
